Moving To A Scottsdale Ranch

My wife showed me a brochure last week on beautiful Scottsdale ranch homes. Though the economy is in a recession, there are actually many housing bargains around. We have saved some money over the years, and now is the time to go house-hunting.

We are rather impressed with The Holm Group as they have great experience in buying and selling homes in Scottsdale Ranch. They have been a member of the Scottsdale Ranch community since 2005.

Whether it’s a luxury home, waterfront property, single family home or town home, you can rely on The Holm Group to ensure a smooth and successful transaction.

Of particular interest to me is DC Ranch which is a nationally acclaimed private golf and residential community in Scottsdale. It is an open desert space being preserved at the base of the McDowell Mountains which provides panoramic views of Scottsdale and Phoenix below.

There are a variety of villas and luxury condominiums in four distinctive village neighborhoods in neighborhood parks with remarkable amenities. Some of the features include tennis and basketball courts, Olympic-size pool, wading pool, playground, exercise and fitness room, meeting rooms, etc. And if you love to walk or jog, walking trails will eventually extend to over 33 miles.

Watch Out For These Web Site Usability Mistakes

When you built your first web site, didn’t you just want to promote it everywhere with big bold letters saying, “HEY EVERYONE! COME HERE AND LOOK AT MY WEBSITE! ISN’T IT GREAT?”

Or, when you submit your web site to forums for web site reviews, what do you typically ask for? You may write, “Tell me what you think of my web site” or “Which color do you like better, blue or red?” or “Did I optimize for search engines properly?”

The worst mistake you will make as a web site owner is to ask someone to “look” at your web site. It’s like the dreaded, “Do I look fat?” question. There’s never a safe answer. For starters, someone may look slim standing up, but resemble the Buddha when sitting on a couch. You need to assign tasks to get honest answers to these tough questions.

To understand if your web site is meeting its usability requirements, ask people to take it for a spin and try it out—and more specifically, to see if they can answer the following questions.

Every good Linux user knows that if you want to drop from X down into a text-based virtual terminal, you can press control-alt-F1 (or any other key up to F6), and control-alt-F7 returns you to the graphical mode. But what if that doesn’t work?

Check out how Matt Cutts tampered with his keyboard to resolve the problem.

Some search industry watchers have called Google the “internet’s traffic cop,” and it’s a role Google seems to be growing more comfortable in, too. Late last week, for example, Google published an explanation of how it handles pages that are found to house malware, and how…

Wagging the Long-Tailed Dog: Search Behavior and Economy

As the head of a search agency, I admit that I was somewhat bemused at first by this whole financial crisis we’re having. Don’t get me wrong; I don’t like seeing people suffer, and it hurts to see the impact that a slowing economy is having on many of my friends and neighbors. But as [...]

Vacation In Playa de Carmen

My friend is having another second honeymoon before the year ends but have problems deciding because of limited budget. Always ready to give her a hand, I asked what her options are. She sent me urls to a Playa de Carmen vacation homes and Cancun Vacation rentals so I can view the photos and prices myself. When I saw them, I understood why she was having a hard time.

Almost all of them sounded great -fully furnished private homes, 150 meters from the luscious white sand beaches of the Caribbean, rooms with breathtaking views of the ocean, spacious and surrounded by tropical gardens, not mentioning swimming pool if you’re too tired to go to the beach. So the deciding factor will be the budget.

Rates to these vacation rentals go from $2200-$9000 weekly depending on the dates. I didn’t really believe she was working on a budget so I told her to go for Luna Encantada or Xaman Ha properties. I know that’s where I’d stay if I have the money.

Compare All Types of Credit Cards

For many people, receiving their latest credit crd latest financial statements is a nightmare. Even when you think all bills are paid up already, without your knowing it, you may still have outstanding balances and the shock of your life comes when they bill you up.

I am trying to comply with the rules of my credit card company but I will be changing my cards soon as I am not happy with their customer service and hidden charges. After browsing the net, I found this site at  www.comparecards.com to be a very useful credit card resource site.

Compare Cards is an online compare card comparison tool.  I can compare CITI credit cards from Household Bank Credit Cards, AMEX Corporate Credit Cards, Bank of America Credit Cards, Providian Credit Cards up to more than 100 credit cards online fast and easy.

As the site is designed with an uncluttered interface and direct navigation, even a computer illiterate can compare and find credit card issuers which have low interest rates and offer the best rewards cards and/or balance transfer cards.

Since my wife has been pestering me for a credit card, I can now decide on the best card for her after reviewing all the offers. My wife is not a spendthrift but on occasions, she can rack up quite a hefty bill from shopping.

Business credit cards are out for her because she is a housewife and her part time income is barely enough. Pre-paid debit cards will be more suitable. There is lesser risk of her overspending, because the spending limit is based on the amount I have deposited before. It’s safe and I don’t have to worry whenever she attends any clearance sales.

If you are looking for a credit card, make your decision only after comparing cards first. Visit Compare Cards today.
